Atletico Madrid host Barcelona in a major La Liga clash on Saturday, with both sides looking to generate momentum ahead of a demanding sequence of meetings in both domestic and European competition.
Atletico Madrid sit fourth in the league table with 57 points from 29 matches, and they arrive on the back of consecutive 3-2 defeats against Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid. The two clubs will meet three times in 10 days, with one league fixture and two Champions League quarter-final legs adding even more importance to this encounter.

Antoine Griezmann and Julian Álvarez are expected to lead the attack, with Ademola Lookman offering width and support from the flank.
In midfield, Alex Baena is likely to come into the starting XI in Cardoso’s absence.
